Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of the ClearSOC website and application.

Effective August 16, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ClearSOC's website and application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

The service

ClearSOC is a multi-tenant, AI-assisted security operations platform. It ingests security telemetry from integrations you connect, detects and explains incidents, and helps you respond. Features and availability may change as we improve the product.

Beta and availability

Parts of the service may be offered as a private beta or preview and are provided "as is" while we harden them for general availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:
  • use the service to violate any law or the rights of others;
  • access data or tenants you are not authorized to access, or attempt to circumvent security or tenant isolation;
  • disrupt or overload the service, or probe it except under an authorized testing agreement;
  • resell or provide the service to third parties except under an approved partner agreement.

Your data and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the data you connect. You are responsible for having the rights to connect that data, for configuring integrations and response automation appropriately, and for reviewing the actions ClearSOC recommends or takes on your behalf.

AI-assisted analysis

ClearSOC uses automated and AI-assisted analysis to prioritize and explain incidents. This analysis is decision support, not a guarantee of detection or accuracy. High-risk response actions are staged for human approval, and you are responsible for approving and overseeing autonomous actions you enable.

Fees

Paid plans are billed per the pricing and order applicable to your subscription. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable and exclusive of taxes.

Subscription term, renewal, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions run for the interval shown at checkout (for example monthly or annual) and renew automatically for successive intervals of the same length, at the then-current price for your plan, until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and without contacting us, from Settings → Manage billing in the app, which opens our payment provider's self-service portal — the same place you change plan or update a card. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your subscription and access continue for the remainder of the interval you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate or refund the unused part of that interval unless the law where you live requires it. If we change the price of your plan, the new price applies from your next renewal and not the current interval.

Intellectual property

ClearSOC and its licensors own the service, software, and all related intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You own your data; you grant us the rights needed to operate the service for you.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms.

Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ClearSOC does not warrant that the service will detect or prevent every threat.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and ClearSOC's total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service. On termination, we will delete or return tenant data on request, subject to legal retention requirements.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to ClearSOC's place of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
